After that long and rainy spring things are really starting to grow. We also have potatoes, watermelon, pumpkins, zucchini, squash, broccoli, cauliflower, and onions but I think I have already posted more than enough pictures already. It is nice to have a yard and a big garden but we are learning VERY quickly that it is also LOTS of work!

A week or so ago for family night we got a cheap kite from Walmart but it just wasn't windy enough and the kite apparently was cheaper than we thought so it ended up in the trash after just one time trying to fly it. So this past family night we upgraded to a much better kite and it was the most perfect evening for flying a kite. It ended up being lots of fun both the kites made it without breaking to pieces (this time we had a Buzz Lightyear kite and a Tigger and Pooh kite). Hopefully we will post some video in the next couple days - the video is much cooler than just the photos.
We have had quite a few people telling us to update our blog. So we decided that today would be the day that we did just that. This first post is of some pictures that I took of Matthew when it first started getting warm outside. He had decided on his own to wear his sunglasses and BYU hat all day long and there was no telling him otherwise. I thought it was pretty dang cute! A few weeks ago we went down to my parents house and my Grammy and Papo decided to take us to the Thanksgiving point little farm and Dinosaur museum. It was quite the treat for Matthew. He absolutely loves horses, so the pony ride was right up his alley. He went on about 4 times but truthfully could have stayed there all day. The cutest part was how he bounced up and down and tried to click his heals in attempt to get the pony to go faster, while shouting out loud " Giddy up, Giddy up Bullseye ( the name of the horse from toy story 2)!". The dinosaur museum for Mark and I was truly fascinating. To think creatures as big as those at one point walked the earth was mind blowing. My personal favorite was the Bracheasauras and Matthews was the T-rex. He threw a small fit because I wouldnt let him ride the t-rex like they do on Night at the Museum. All in all we had a great time. Thanks Papo and Grammy, we couldnt ask for better grandparents and great grandparents! This last weekend Mark and Matthew went on a little camping trip with Grandpa Durrant and Brother in law Kimball and his son Kurt to Payson lakes. From the sounds of it, everyone had a fun relaxing weekend. Unfortunately and to much disappointment of cousin Kurt and Mark no fish were caught.
