The bottom photo is a our vain attempt to get a semi decent family - as you can see a crying baby and an uninterested two year old make it pretty tough to get a nice picture. The top photo is one that Emily's sister took at the temple (more of their wedding photos are here).

Baby Announcements

Here are some of the baby announcements that I put together for our little Lucy Mae. The bottom one was a quick mock up what Lindsey was initially kind of wanting. But the picture was of Lucy as just a day or so old and we needed a little better picture. So we ended up changing the picture and a few things on the design of it.

Lucy Comes Home

Lucy came home yesterday and seems to be adjusting just fine - except for last night from 1:30 to 4:00 AM when she didn't want to eat and just cried but other than that she is doing great. And since we have been home Matthew has been very "helpful" - he just can't seem to do anything without wanting to know where Lucy is (Lucy was the very first thing he asked for when he woke up from his nap). And then this morning he decided that he would read her a book. So after putting lots of pillows around those two and while standing very close to them he attempted to read her a book (see the video below).

Here is another picture of little Lucy and then a video of her just hanging out in the hospital. Once she gets home we will be able to get better pictures but hopefully this will let everyone see how darn cute she is!

Lucy Mae Durrant

Lucy Mae was born today, August 5th 2009, at 5:23PM, weighed 8 lbs and 7 ounces, and was 20 inches long. We think that she is absolutely adorable! Here are a few pictures - don't worry there will be more pictures to come soon.

Our final attempt to get Lucy here

In a last ditch effort to get Lucy here we decided to take a little hike - I emphasize little and non strenous. Sadly though this didn't do much if anything at all to encourage Lucy to come quicker.
